It really could not be simpler. Geneva is one hour away and there are several local taxi firms who will take you to and from the airport.
From the UK it is no more than an hour and a half flight and with EasyJet / Jet2 and other budget airlines you can fly for less than it costs on the train from London to Edinburgh.
It is also possible to travel by train, and although it takes almost three hours, it travels through some of the most beautiful scenery. If you choose to drive, then it takes around nine hours from Calais, and the toll road cost is approximately £70 (€100).
